Imaginarium Popular
The series begins with a simple question: what happens when a capture device designed to inventory objects is aimed at a festival?
Flag-bearers, drum sections, offerings and candles are scanned with phone LiDAR during the event itself — no tripod, no control, in the middle of the crowd. The result is not a model. It is an unstable cloud, punctured wherever a body moved too fast to be recorded.
Those punctures are the subject. Where the archive fails, something stays outside the inventory. Imaginarium Popular does not digitize popular culture: it shows the precise point where popular culture escapes digitization.
